Error 031008: restarting the printer

Unplug the power cable from the power source.
Press the power button for about 60 seconds.
Plug the power cable back into the outlet.
Release the power button as soon as the printer is turned on.
Print to check whether the error code reappears or not.
After following all the steps, reset your Epson printer.

Error 031008: resetting the printer

On the control panel:

Select “Param. "=>" Restore default settings ".
Click on “Clear all data and settings”.

If the Epson 031008 error is still displayed on your printer, the problem is most likely with the printhead or cartridge. Perform the printhead cleaning process.

Error 031008: cleaning the printheads

Load paper into the printer.
Press "Maintenance" on the control panel.
Select “Print Head Nozzle Check”.
Start printing the nozzle check pattern.
If the lines are complete as in the “OK” pattern, the nozzles are not clogged. Press to close. If not, go to the next step.
Press , and then follow the on-screen instructions to clean the printhead. When finished, reprint the design. Repeat cleaning and printing the pattern until all lines are printed correctly.
