EPSON LX and LQ Series Printer Setup Tutorial

A printer is a device that displays data in printed form, either as text or as images/graphics.
In the following, we will see how to set EPSON LX-300/LX300+/LX-310 smart settings.

The first step you need to do is to set the paper size of the dot matrix printer driver which is in your computer's "Control Panel", and here are the steps.

Open 'Control Panel' on your computer then go to 'Hardware and Sound' then click on 'Device and Printer'.

Right-click on the printer and select "Printer Preferences".

Go to the "User defined paper" section, then create a new name from the desired paper settings in the "New name" section. For example, we use the profile name 'Invoice A5' after setting the paper size to 'Width 21.00' and 'Height 13.97' then click 'Save' as shown in the section to save the settings then click 'OK'

After creating the paper settings profile, it's time to apply it to some parts. Open the 'Printer Preferences' again in the same way as in the previous step, then in the 'Page layout' section click on 'Advanced'

Select the paper settings profile you created earlier in the "Paper Size" section, for example, we chose "A5 Invoice" for the paper settings we defined, then click "OK".

and when you are redirected to 'Printer Preferences' click 'OK' again

Also set in the "Device Settings" section by right-clicking on the same printer and selecting "Printer properties". Then go to the 'Device settings' section then select the profile you created earlier in the 'Manual feed' section for example we chose the 'A5 invoice' which we created, then click on 'OK'.

Use 'Mozilla Firefox' browser for maximum printing results

when you do the printing process, make sure the paper settings are in accordance with your printer settings

After that, tap/click the "Advanced" button in the lower right corner

Make sure your paper size is 'Invoice A5', if the paper size is still 'Letter', change it to 'Invoice A5', then tap/click the 'Ok' button marked with a Red line.

Log in to your computer account, then go to Admin > General Settings. After entering the general settings, check the option "Use dot-matrix printers on sales" in the Settings section of the options

After that, save the settings you changed by clicking on the floppy disk icon on the left.
